theres only a few moments in the day that my heart is distracted enough to merely beat. not race. or break. or swell up. or sink down. Sometimes these moments can last a long time. Dinner is usually the daily dependable moment. i just… belong at a table filled with people i love. Sometimes the moment only lasts as long as my favorite song. Sometimes the moment is enough to make it easy to sleep. Sometimes I get lost in the moment and im up all night with it. but sometimes….the moment makes me miss you.
and now my heart is racing and breaking and swelling and sinking. which means, this is the kind of moment that puts meaning in your distance.
i wonder if ill ever not be crazy….not crazy enough for you to love me.
